Result: German win 8 units broke through + 9KP. Americans 1 breakthrough 4 KP

Note the German list has no armour!

This is an armour free list, enabling Cossey to bring 16 Units, mainly engineers with one shot flamethrowers.

Working in pairs these units are lethal when taken in transport.

Each flamethrower works independently and can "shoot" at different targets.

From short range they are hitting on a 3+

The flamethrower units took out the Sherman, M10 and four other infantry units.

The Chaffee was destroyed in turn 1 by the Hanomag with the Panzerbusche.

 

This is the second time I've seen a force without armour of any description win, and win so well.

At our Partisan Games cup competition Paul Wickens won with a Soviet force with no armour.

The question has to asked, if in competitive play  people are fielding lists such as these, is is it still worth taking armour?
