Bolt Action: Gebirgsjäger Squad

The Gebirgsjäger — German mountain troops — were among the most elite and versatile infantry of the Wehrmacht. Trained to operate in the most demanding terrain imaginable, from the frozen peaks of Norway and the Caucasus to the rugged mountains of Italy and the Balkans, they were classified as Veterans and equipped and motivated accordingly.

On the tabletop, the Gebirgsjäger are a hard-hitting, mobile elite unit with a range of upgrade options. The Skis special rule allows them to ignore movement penalties on snow and winter terrain — making them a uniquely powerful choice for winter-themed forces and scenarios.
