The Regio Esercito — Royal Italian Army — fought across multiple theatres during WWII, from the deserts of North Africa and the mountains of East Africa to the brutal campaigns in Greece, Yugoslavia, and the Soviet Union. Often underestimated, Italian troops could fight with considerable determination when well-led and properly supported, and this support group gives you the command and heavy weapons elements to build a competitive Italian force for Bolt Action.

The Italian Army made effective use of the Mortaio da 81/14 Modello 35 medium mortar — a weapon nearly identical to the 81mm mortar fielded by the United States — providing reliable indirect fire support across all theatres.

All figures in this set can be fielded as either regular Italian Army or Blackshirt (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale) troops.
