Warlord Games Bolt Action — Italian Paracadutisti Support Group (402215807)

The Italian Paracadutisti — paratroopers of the Regio Esercito — were among the most elite and highly motivated troops Italy fielded during WWII. Serving with distinction in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy, divisions such as the Folgore and Nembo earned a formidable reputation for tenacity and fighting spirit, holding their ground against overwhelming odds in some of the most gruelling battles of the Mediterranean theatre.

Like their Regio Esercito counterparts, the Paracadutisti relied heavily on the Breda 37 medium machine gun and the Mortaio da 81/14 Modello 35 81mm mortar for close fire support — weapons that gave their platoons a solid backbone of direct and indirect firepower.
