The NKVD — the Soviet secret police and internal security force — fielded their own combat divisions throughout the Great Patriotic War. Fanatically loyal to the Soviet state and often better equipped and motivated than regular Red Army units, NKVD troops fought in some of the most critical battles of the Eastern Front, including the defence of Stalingrad.

The figures in this set can also be painted to represent Soviet Border Guards units, identifiable by their distinctive green caps — giving you additional flexibility for your Eastern Front force.

This set provides a full NKVD squad for use in games of Bolt Action, cast in metal for fine detail and a satisfying weight on the tabletop.
