Highly adherent and easy to apply with a spatula, palette knife, or stiff brush, Grey Sand is equally at home on miniature bases and large terrain pieces. Its versatility extends beyond basing — modellers also use it to simulate non-slip surfaces on modern armoured vehicles, and to create the appearance of corrosion, rust, and weathered surfaces on scale models.
