Rough Grey Pumice is a coarse pumice stone paste from the Vallejo Diorama FX range, designed to create dense, rugged, and heavily textured surface effects on bases, dioramas, and terrain. Its coarse, gritty consistency makes it the ideal choice for depicting rocky outcrops, eroded stone, rubble, rough ground, and rugged wilderness terrain — surfaces where a finer texture medium simply won't deliver the visual weight and depth required.

Apply with a spatula, palette knife, or stiff brush and build up layers to create dramatic, three-dimensional rocky surfaces. Combine with loose stones, gravel, and other basing materials to create truly convincing and detailed scenes. Once dry, it accepts paint, washes, and drybrushing directly, making it easy to achieve realistic stone and rock effects with minimal effort.
