A deep, rich near-black navy blue, Vallejo Model Color Dark Prussian Blue (70.899) is one of the darkest and most versatile blues in the Model Color range. Named after the iconic Prussian military uniform colour, it excels as a deep basecoat for blue armour and uniforms, a shadow tone for mid-blues, and a mixing base for custom dark blue and teal blends.

Recommended Use

Apply over a primed surface as a deep basecoat, then layer up with Prussian Blue, Magic Blue, or Electric Blue for a rich, shaded blue finish. Use thinned as a glaze to deepen shadows on existing blue armour. Mix with Black for near-black shadow tones or with Green for dark teal blends. Thin with distilled water or Vallejo Airbrush Thinner for airbrushing.
